Course Objectives

1.To provide guidance on assessing evidence for TBD
2. To participant in agreement trialling of evidence for TBD. Workshops will provided Practitioners with extended opportunities to discuss the evidence that they bring with colleagues.
3. To moderate judgements made for TBD

This half day training session will be based upon the Renewed Early Learning Goals and the New Development Matters with a specifc focus on TBD. There will also be key updates provided in relation to EYFS and opportunities given for Colleagues to discuss apporaches that they have been taking in this year.

During the session there will be the opportunity for participants to take part in agreement trialling as well as moderation of their own evidence.
We ask that each participant brings along with them some evidence for;

NB The evidence could be for one child or it may be from two or three different children. The practitioner attending the course can decide and also in regard to the form the that the evidence takes.

This course will support Teacher Assessment for the EYFS. It will enable practitioners to be confident and accurate in their judgements against ELGs at the end of the Reception Year. Further Moderation Meetings have been arranged for the end of the academic year that colleagues may wish to book on. This course can be accessed here:
