Challenging the Most Able in English for Year 3 and 4

This course has been designed to support teachers in Y3/4 when planning English units of work with a focus on challenging all learners, including a particular focus on the most able children. The course will include:
- an exploration of challenge strategies for speaking, listening, reading and writing via the teaching sequence
- how to use scaffolding to deepen age-related skills
- an exemplified unit of work using a quality text with a focus on the most able learners.
