Course Objectives
• To enable mathematics subject leaders in special schools to be informed about current mathematical issues pertinent to their role.
• To support the mathematics subject leader with specific aspects of their role.
• To explore ways of continuing to improve the quality of teaching and learning in mathematics in special schools
In this ever changing educational environment it is crucial that subject leaders be informed about current mathematical issues. This meeting therefore is intended for any mathematics subject leaders in special schools who want to enhance their leadership skills and keep abreast of current developments appropriate to their provision.
Each term there will be a half day session to provide the latest information about recent publications, updates and provide a guide through new initiatives in mathematics.
