Course Objectives
• To understand how to support teachers to explicitly teach the different phases of the writing cycle in their subject disciplines.
• To explore quick and easy practical teaching strategies for explicitly supporting student writing.
This course seeks to support ECTs across the curriculum who explicitly teach writing within their subject disciplines, with a focus on the teaching of the planning stage of writing through to composition, drafting and editing.
There is no charge to schools for ECT attendance but places need to be booked in advance.
PLEASE NOTE: NON ATTENDANCE WILL RESULT IN THE FULL COST (£45) OF THE COURSE BEING CHARGED.
