COVID CATCH-UP: Targeting a Grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics

This course will cover:
• To identify key topics and skills required to achieve a grade 5 at GCSE.
• To consider strategies to develop pupils' understanding and skills working towards a grade 5 at GCSE.
• To consider the pros and cons of higher v foundation tier of entry.
• To look at revision and intervention strategies to help move students from grade 4 to grade 5.
Some students targeted for a grade 5 prior to March 2020, may have fallen off track and may have gaps in confidence, knowledge and understanding.
This course will look at both longer term and short term strategies to target a grade 5 and to help move pupils from a grade 4 to a grade 5.
