Course Objectives

This course will cover:
• Gain ideas to use in your next Primary Science Week on the theme of 'Food For Thought'
• Explore over 30 practical ideas specific for EYFS, KS1, LKS2 and UKS2 classes – at least 5 to 6 ideas for each age range
• Consider a focus for monitoring the IMPACT of your science week on learning, progress and attitudes to science

Take the hassle out of planning your next Science week and gather enough ideas to support every class for a whole week of events linked to the theme of 'Food for Thought'. From edible experiments to fun with food and taste, use the ideas to enrich your school curriculum and to add breadth to the NC2014 in each age range.
Participants will explore how to make fun ideas into rich learning opportunities for science and consider how to monitor the impact of a science event on attitudes and progress.
